This is Bruce. He started this gym in 1980.

Hospitalised with severe asthma for months at a time through his teen years, he read everything he could find about improving lung capacity.

When came across weight training, it drastically improved his quality of life, enabling him to become a healthy, strong adult, with a passion for helping others.

This was back in the 1960's.

Lifting weights was not popular back then.

His dream was to create a place where people from all walks of life can get the benefits of lifting weights.

Body World Gym is the result of that dream.
